Nancy,

How did the MRI go? I hope it was good news and you don't need surgery.

Cate,

I have had that exact same crafting issue happen so many times. You make a bunch of stuff for a quest, none of the items are counted, but all the ingredients and power are gone from your inventory. Clearing the cache doesn't help with my game when that happens. Usually I just give up on that week's quest, otherwise I get too frustrated by it happens all over again.

After being back several months, it looks like Zynga has no plans to fix anything. Their coding lacks a place to save a new avatar, I can see all of you but none of you can see me, I can visit your farms but not vice versa, etc. etc. etc.

I've hid neighbors who weren't playing anymore and when I see them sending and requesting things unhiding their farm is futile.

I've had $148 FB since way back when they would have ways for you to earn a FB or two. The other day after something being mentioned in Chat I saw I was down to $135 with no clue as to what I bought.

I think they're getting AI to answer all their questions with no intentions of fixing anything.

I think you may be on to something Lisa regarding AI

They tried to say that neighbours are random and yet I have kept mine down to a manageable amount and
yet after all this time you have only shown up once way back when and then disappear.

Doesn't make sense no matter what way you look at it.

And as far as avatars are concerned how difficult can that be to fix? They are probably one of the most common elements in these games.

We can only hope.

Carrie,
Sorry it's taken me so long to answer you question. After I get frustrated with the game, I don't even think to check the forum.

Ok, here we go. My doctor said the MRI results were much worse than he expected. He is almost positive they will have to do surgery. I have an appt. with a neurosurgeon this coming Tuesday, September 17th. I will know more after that. I'm a little frightened about what will happen. My doctor put me a sort of restricted regime. No pushing, pulling or lifting. Luckily, my neighbor has been mowing and taking my garbage out on trash night.
When I do laundry I've been putting clothes in laundry basket and kicking it from laundry room to bedroom. This inactivity is absolutely killing me.
I will let you know more maybe Tuesday night.
I was able to play the game for a few minutes, screen goes white (activity feed is still scrolling). I have to log out and sometimes reboot. Tomorrow
I will contact you know who.....I would not calling it support, more like an answering service. LOL

FOLLOW UP:
My surgery is scheduled for Oct. 4th. I will be in the hospital for 2 nights. Hopefully be able to come home on Sunday, Oct. 6th. So I won't say for sure how much I can do in the Co-op for that following week. The surgery is called Anterior Cervical Dissection.

Nancy, I'm so sorry to hear that the MRI turned out worse than expected.

Hopefully the surgery will fix everything and you will be feeling better soon.

Please keep us update on how you are doing.

Thank You. I kind of scared to be totally honest. I'm a very independent person and knowing I will have to depend on others is driving me up the wall. On a positive note, I will have more time to work in FV2 and the network shows are getting ready to new seasons to start. So that's good.

Nancy, I'd be apprehensive, too. Any normal person would be, I think. And, people having to help me would get on my last nerve! lol But, you have to look at the big picture . . . people helping you can shorten your recover period.

Coincidentally, I know someone who had this surgery, apparently it's pretty common (for its category) in Canada. He was so glad that he did. He followed the rehab schedule carefully and, the huge bonus for him other than no relentless pain, was that he was eventually able to ride his motorcycle again. We all have our goals, huh. lol His docs told him that after the surgery, he'd have to sleep upright, like in a recliner, for at least a few days. He said he told them no problem. I do that every night watching TV.

I'm going to be sending you white light & positive vibes that day. :)
