Lisa,
I use Firefox not Chrome. I can't get the game to open in Chrome. It keeps telling me I have to download the Launcher + even though I already have. Then when I try to download it with Chrome, the download and install process just doesn't complete.

But regarding having to play full screen in Chrome, it doesn't have the little button at the side that let's you play in a smaller screen with the posted items alongside? In case I'm not explaining it, here is a snip showing the button...

If you have access to that button and it does let you get out of full screen, the toolbar at the top has a help button...

Once you click that a menu will open with green buttons, Support is at the bottom of the list.

Another window will open and at the bottom of that there will be a red Contact Us button. That will open the support chat.

It's usually a bot and will give canned advice, but they give you the option to say you still need help, I can't remember the specifics of how that goes. But if you say your issue isn't resolved, they will have someone get back to you. Just go through the above steps to get back to the help chat and that is where the response will be - unless they say they will send you an email, I don't think they respond by email anymore.

I'll ask Cate if she has anymore to add to this, she has better luck with support than I do.

Hello ladies,

Lisa, the old version of FV2 in Chrome had the full screen button on the top right hand side beside the Globe & Inbox. If you've downloaded Launcher, it should be where Carrie showed you in her screenshot. To get out of the full screen, click the ESC key on your keyboard. On my non Mac PC it's at the very top of the keyboard on the left side.

Even in full screen, that menu Carrie pointed out should still be showing. I wonder if your screen is over 100%. You might try reducing it. Click the 3 dots at the top right hand side of Chrome and check Zoom. If it says 100%, try reducing it some and see what happens. In Firefox, I have mine set at 80%.

If you use Support at the bottom of your screen instead of Help, you'll save 2 steps. And then follow Carrie's instructions -- click Contact Us and then the Chat Window opens on the bottom right.

It's weird that we don't see you when you visit but weirder still that you receive things from us. As I mentioned, I check any visitors to repay the visit but I also check any help requests & notifications before I delete them. Maybe I jinxed you. The day your were joining the co-op, I told the other members that if they saw a new name on the co-op list it wasn't a phantom player, which we get occasionally, but a new person joining. It turns out you're a phantom on our farms. lol

P.S. Carrie, even though you have Launcher+ on Firefox, you have to download it anyway in Chrome when you get the pop-up. Then FV2 will load.

I just read Carrie's post in the co-op chat. I wonder if Support saw the right Lisa on your neighbor's bar, Carrie. I have a Lisa and Nan has 2 Lisa's and, more important, Support didn't see Lisa G Level 158 on my neighbor bar.

In the co-op chat I said that Support's conclusion of a display issue didn't make sense because I used all the variables and Lisa wasn't on my neighbor bar on any of them. But, then I realized there is another variable. . . Lisa, I think you're the only Mac user. That couldn't be it, could it?

I'm pretty sure nobody else uses a Mac, although a past player was but the only issue for her was when Flash ended because Zynga was slow developing Launcher for Mac's.

I hate when these types of little puzzles seize my brain!!

Geez, I just thought of something else. The display in Chrome can be wonky if hard acceleration is enabled, although that probably applies to the full screen thingy not the avatar not displaying. It's in Settings, System and then toggle off hard acceleration.

I'm really going to stop thinking about it now.

I would hate to see you leave the game, but I do understand how frustrating it can be. This is supposed to be fun, enjoyable, and relaxing, and all the glitches can turn it into the opposite instead.

I truly hope support can get you back in the game.

If you do start a new farm, please know that you are always welcome in our co-op and this forum.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get back to your current farm.
Thanks Carrie
Got an email today that said they sent me a verifcation email. LOL They sent a reset password but its for the wrong email address. Sigh
And you are right playing is supposed to be fun etc. This is not. See if I get a response from my last reply. Sometimes wonder if they actually read the emails they are sent.
Hopefully see you all sooner than later.

Do you still have that "wrong" email address, Gayle? The link should work independent of the email.

I saw that Carrie told you my login issue. It's truly happens every time--I log in, it loads and then crashes within 1-5 mins. This happens 3x's and then on the 4th log in, I can play. Took a a while to realize it happens a fixed number of times and I was so frustrated working on the farm for a few minutes but having to do it over each time. Now I just get the game loaded and sit and look at it or go away for a few minutes until it crashes.

I can appreciate your extreme frustration. You've been having troubles for a very long time. I hope it finally gets straightened out for you because we really enjoy you being in the co-op and want very much for you to stay.

Hi Cate. Its happened I believe when I had to change my email this time. The original one won't let me log in and when it did finally it was my game from two years ago. They need to verify the address it was changed to but the something is being lost maybe in translation? The last email I just sent was to inform them that they only sent an address reset to the wrong email. That they need to verify. I have screenshots of that request. This week will be my last week trying to get my game back. Then I will decide if I want to start over again or just use the 2 year old game. 😢

I have everything I can cross crossed for you! I'm feeling optimistic for you. You've been incredibly patient trying to get this fixed. I hope this week does it. We'd really miss you if you had to leave. I'm sending you a big virtual hug. <<HUG>>

Carrie,

I have the same issue with Chrome as mentioned with the Launcher. I wonder if Firefox would be different.

As for the full screen .. yes I have the button but when I click it, it goes back to the "Hi there Farmer, thanks for using Launcher" button. And somewhere it says it has to be played in full screen. I have to hit ESC to get out of the full screen mode.

But I do see the Help button and after clicking it wants me to sign into Facebook. Oh wait ..

Cate's suggestion on lowering the Zoom helped and I finally got the red button which lead me to the chat box. After going through a couple of things to check, I got the "we'll get back to you" response. It doesn't help with having to have the full screen on to play. I turned off the Acceleration thing but it gives me a pop up saying it should be on. I do wish I could get my avatar updated in the game. It just won't save.

That's interesting that if I'm the only Mac user that could be an issue. I love my lil' farm but I'll not give up my Mac.

That's so funny about the phantom thing .. :D

Cate, I just saw your message in the co-op ... hopefully things are turning around! I visited several of y'all's farms this morning. Are any of you able to receive things from me you've requested when the game first opens?

I'm fixing to hit Level 159 .. go me.

Lisa,
First, Welcome to the Lost & Found Co-op! And welcome to the forum. I for one am so glad that I finally found a Co-op that works together for a common goal. This is my 4th Co-op and will definitely be my last.
I have yet to see you as a neighbor visiting my farm. And I still can't find you on my neighbors bar. I keep scanning all of my neighbors looking for you but as of today no luck.
I did find another Lisa today that I don't think I've seen before "Lisa Darlene Gibson". I remember that you posted about your name being either "Lisa bg or Lisa G."
