Your Harry Potter Puzzles & Spells, is that a video game?
Yes it is not unlike FV2 (it is another Zynga game), It's a match 3 puzzle game with spells to cast. I found it about 1 1/2 yrs ago, I had to try it. I love all the Harry Potter movies (have 3 complete sets-one is to watch all the time and other 2 are backups...LOL).
I play 3 games on my tablet in the morning while drinking my coffee, Homescapes, Gardenscrapes & Harry Potter Puzzles and Spells. And if I lose my lives too fast then I have time to go to desktop and play FV2. My life is full (sort of), Bear, volunteering, computer games, pool, yardwork, laundry & housework. Notice I put the most important first! I have my priorities for being retired. laundry and housework always come last. That's ok, cause it's just me and Bear. The only mess he makes is scattering his toys all over the house.

I like computer games too Nancy. I play Best Fiends Stars on my tablet. It is also a match three game. I used to play Best Fiends, but then Best Fiends Stars came out and i like it a lot better. I used to play Gardenscapes, but I haven't in a while. I've played various Harvest Moon games in the past, but I haven't played those in a while either. I am playing a bit of Dinkum. It's a casual game that has farming, fishing, mining, and some fighting of ornery wildlife. A lot of people say it is similar to Animal Crossing, but I've not played that one, so I couldn't say.
Have you watched the Fantastic Beasts movies? I really like them, but haven't watched the third one yet.
I like that you are keeping your priorities straight! LOL I usually put housework at the end of my list too.

Oh! Oh! I can actually answer this one! LOL
There are two reasons your neighbor will have the two buttons - the blue "Visit" and the red "Hide".
Cate, you are correct that if someone hasn't played in a very long time, those buttons will show up.
But there is another reason. Those buttons show up for anyone who became your neighbor through the weekly fair (county, world, etc).
If one of the people you are competing against, asks to be your neighbor and you accept or vice versa, but you do not invite them to be a friend also, then both buttons will always show up for them.
Which leads me to another question...
We used to have a search bar at the top of the page (when not in full screen view) where you could type in a player's name in order to find their profile, thus giving you the option to ask them to be a Zynga friend. That search bar is no longer there and hasn't been since Zynga revamped the co-ops. So, how do you ask someone to be your Zynga friend now?
Carrie, I was looking in the Activity Feed yesterday and I realized nobody mentioned the most obvious place to get friends now. When you click on the Friends section of the Activity Feed, you should see a few options to select new friends. I don't remember how long it's been there. Maybe it replaced the notification bell. Sorry the pic is blurry--couldn't fix it.

I have watched the first two as you have. I have to admit, I had to push myself to watch, the start seemed a little slow to me but after awhile I did get interested. You know, it dawned on me that several franchises have done the same thing (gone back after the first one and then tell you the characters past). When Star Wars did it I was like how stupid, movie order was 4,5,6,1,2,3! Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

Thanks Carrie & Cate, I have always wondered about the buttons. I did assume that if a person hadn't played in a long time they would change. But I was clueless about the fair neighbors.

Cate, in that section of the Activity Feed, mine says "That's all for now, Farmer!" and it has said that for months. Once upon a time, I could ask people to be my friend from there, but sadly no longer.

The Co-op chat in-game is completely blank for me, all the previous posts are gone. When I write and submit something, it just disappears. I logged out and in again - same thing.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes Carrie, mine is blank and has been since Friday afternoon maybe earlier. Very frustrating.
Now I'm really grateful for this forum!
