I think I asked CS once and they said players who hadn't been ingame for awhile but like Cate says that doesn't apply as I had hide option for some very active players. I also had hidden and removed a lot to keep my "bar" neat and easier access. Someone thought it was on those that play FB farm. I only play thru Zynga so not sure if thats the answer?

I don't have Farmville on or connected in any way to facebook.

"We used to have a search bar at the top of the page (when not in full screen view) where you could type in a player's name in order to find their profile, thus giving you the option to ask them to be a Zynga friend. That search bar is no longer there and hasn't been since Zynga revamped the co-ops. So, how do you ask someone to be your Zynga friend now?"

Carrie, I use the "Add Friend" button at the left hand end of the neighbor bar when I want new neighbors.

But how do we get people to be Zynga friends so that they show up in that "Add Friend" section on the far left of the neighbor bar?

Another note on the Hide and Visit buttons. If you have them on every neighbor, it is because you are either at or approaching the limit of neighbors you are allowed to have. I can't remember how many neighbors Zynga set the limit to, but there is a limit. I have been there in the past.

FV2 official limit for friends is 300, but I don't think they actually manage it. I have 800+ friends for the simple reason that a giant chunk, I'm guessing about 500 of them are inactive but I can't remove them.

Carrie, random thought--do you have Community Neighbors enabled in the Settings at the bottom of the screen?

When I click the Add Friend button, I see 2 tabs--Hidden Friends and Farmville 2 Friends. The caption at the top says to invite these people to be added to your Neighbor Bar. Some of the people on my Farmville 2 Friends list (354) are also neighbors, like the co-op members, but most are not. When I was looking for new neighbors, I sent out requests from there, and I invite everybody, assuming some are inactive, too. Or, I unhide 50 or so people from the Hidden Friends list and invite them.

Occasionally, I see friend requests in the Notification bell but before accepting those, I look at their profile to make sure they actually play FV2.

It's annoying that we can't request friend from our own profiles these days. A lot of their improvements suck.

How do you view someone else's profile?

The only time I look for someone else's profile is when they ask me to be their Zfriend in the notification bell. Then clicking their name takes me to their Zynga profile. I like to make sure they are actually active on FV2.

It might be the only way to see profiles these days.

Cate I have removed a number of neighbours by just using the chat help to support. I list who I want removed and "usually" when I go back into my game its been done.

If they email me (not sure if they still do) I used to list them that way. You just have to give their names and level so Zynga can find them.

Thank You Carrie. I had always wondered about the neighbors bar. For instance, since Katrina has stopped playing and a member of our Co-op hers has changed to the two rectangles. Karen is still playing and visiting my farm and I hers, so she is still the blue "visit" button. I had thought just like Cate said, I always assumed they quit playing or because them never visited my farm.

I can't even remember the request or what it was for.....I have slept a lot since then! LOL
