Cate wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:42 pm Gayle, I wonder if they meant log in WITH Facebook. Players can use their log in info for Facebook to login to FV2. This part is very important -- your Facebook account must be closed when you do it.

I wonder if, when the online chat bot told you the problem was fixed, it was referring to Zynga's problem of people unable to log in. There are lots of canned responses in the online chat window. I don't think the chat bot is capable of viewing or doing anything with your your farm.

I went to support chat today to see about Lisa (not being on neighbor bars). First I got links that might fix it. I didn't even try them. Told them it didn't and was then told I'd get a tech email within 48 hours.

A msg above my farm today said their problems are fixed now. I don't know about that. My game routinely crashes 3x's each within about 5 mins for it actually lets me  play.
I have had such a runaround my head is spinning. I went into the low level game to get the data and its 3 years old so its when I first started playing again. And get this: They sent it to the address I use for my current game??? And yet it won't let me log in with it again?
I don't use facebook for my game because to link them you have to play on FB first. I did try the connect but it only brings up the old games login and I did remember to be logged out of fb. :-)

Probably was just the bot. I have actually received emails from two people now. At least I think they are human.LOL Only one seems to be a possible real help but not going to hold my breath. However I do have fingers crossed.

Thanks ! I actually found my id (which somehow I misplaced) so I am hoping they can use that to fix things again. I sent them a screenshot I found on an older email LOL and I told them my co-op friends not only confirmed my farm exists but that they miss me. Ha ha How much more proof do they need?

OH and of course they remind/ask me each time if I followed the usual troubleshooting advice. Like I can do that all now with my eyes closed and hands tied behind my back.

Nothing so far. One has stayed in contact with me and told me to hang on while they look into it.

Said will take awhile and for me to wait until I hear from them again. Sigh

Hello ladies,

Carrie:
-That sucks about having to start your farm over again and the name of the Co-op makes sense now!
-I need to make notes of what each of you want on your farms. I'm guessing right now I can do anything since none of you can see I've even visited?

I tried to play this morning but kept getting the error about a page not loading or something and gave up after three tries. At least with that error, you can pick up where you left off instead of Whoops-a-Daisy where everything you did needs to be redone.

I also see where our person or family member still runs toward the task then runs back to the other end of the farm then goes back to the task is ever present. 🤨 I also wish playing with the Launcher didn't require using up the whole screen making it more difficult to grab stuff off the feed when something pops up that we need.

So none of you are able to find me in the Neighbor's Bar yet? If not it's so odd because I'm able to send and receive requests from all of you and visit your farms.

I also can't find a way to change my avatar for the game. It simply won't save. I tried adding back the one I deleted but that doesn't work either. Seems like many people still play the game but support is sorely lacking or non-existent.

My orders for the co-op have been over the top this first week. Even if I were to ask for help it wouldn't help me meet some of them. I wish they'd give us a way to make salt, sugar, and pepper. 😁

Even with all the complaints and frustrations about this game, I just love my little farm. 😊

Well I am going to give them until next week to get back to me then I guess I will have to just pack in all my farmwork.

I may start over, just not sure if that is something I want to do. Sigh

If I do I will post here my new farm etc and once I reach the proper level "again" I will come find you all. LOL

If not Its been fun!! Take care All

Lisa,

It is very weird that you still aren't showing up on our neighbor bars, but we are on yours. I did get a response from support that I am going to post into a new thread today.

I'm going to say, for right now, go ahead and click on what you want or helps you out the most, when you visit our farms. Until you show up, I don't see a reason why not.

There have been a lot of log in errors recently. Cate has to log in three times every time she plays before she can actually get to the game. Poor Gayle can't even log in, even with support working on it. Nancy has had some issues. I've gotten the white screen with the 404 error many times and just have to close the browser and log in again. You are definitely not alone, we can all commiserate.

Ugh, the running around of the family members is why I haven't bothered to unlock the children. I remember it was worse when you had the spouse and both children unlocked.

We see a lot of orders that are over the top, 350 of something that requires 9 power each, or something that uses tons of water. We usually just delete them and hope the next order will be easier.

Have you contacted support about the neighbor bar issue or the avatar issue? Support isn't as good as it used to be, that's for sure. For a few years, I didn't even exist for support, no response whatsoever. However, the last two times I have contacted support, I have actually been heard. The one time they just fixed the issue without any return response. And this time, they responded, not via email as they said they would, but via the support chat. At least I did get a response. That is a nice change for me. LOL

Most of us are like you, even with all the glitches and frustrations, we love our farms and keep playing. ;)

Oh no Gayle!

I would hate to see you leave the game, but I do understand how frustrating it can be. This is supposed to be fun, enjoyable, and relaxing, and all the glitches can turn it into the opposite instead.

I truly hope support can get you back in the game.

If you do start a new farm, please know that you are always welcome in our co-op and this forum.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get back to your current farm.

Carrie,

I saw your post and yes it is very weird. I've been receiving requests to be neighbors (multiple times) and I always accept them. As mentioned, I'm able to send and receive requests, visit your farms, etc. I have older neighbors that I play with and although I visit their farms, they've not ever visited me since I began playing again. I can send and receive requests from them as well. I'm beginning to wonder if they can't see my farm any longer.

Well, at least it sounds like drowning in orders isn't just on my little farm! And oh my goodness, the little challenges are so hard to keep up with. I usually pick just one and try to do it. I think currently I have four different ones and they are just overwhelming.

I have a Mac and downloaded Chrome and the Launcher so I could play. Obviously, they never did come up with a way to play on Safari when Flash went away. Launcher can be a joke, too, as I have to restart it constantly.

Do you have an email for me to contact Support? I tried clicking on every button I could find and it's like going on a scavenger hunt or just going in circles. :D
